Gingerbread Man Ornaments

I'm pretty sure by this time you already have started setting up your Christmas tree. How about decorating it this year with cardboard ornaments? They're cute and eco friendly! I'll show you how to make them.

You will need:
- cutter/scissors
- cardboard - you can cut your cardboard box into smaller pieces.
- liquid paper correction pen
- ribbon
- glue or tape

First, you need to look for a gingerbread man template. I just printed template this from the internet. Or you can use your gingerbread man cookie cutter. Or you can just hand draw your own design.

I traced the template on the cardboard with a pencil and I used a sharp cutter to cut out the gingerbread man. Then I used a pair of scissors to trim the excess cardboard.

When you're done trimming the gingerbread man, it's time to decorate it with fake icing. Use correction fluid pen to draw the man's face, its clothes, and so on.

The correction fluid pen that I bought dries quickly so I didn't encounter smudge problems and that's good. If you want more color, you can use red and green pens or colored glue. You can also use beads for the gingerbread's eyes and buttons.

Then use glue or tape to stick the ribbon at the back of the gingerbread man so you can hang it on the Christmas tree, or elsewhere.

Tada! All done. It's not only gingerbread people that you can make as ornaments. You can also make Santa, reindeer, gingerbread house, 2D christmas balls, and then outline them with correction fluid pen.

Easy, right? Yay!
